Slovenian furniture brand Lina chosen for footballer Ronaldo’s luxury hotel on Madeira
Slovenian furniture brand Lina will feature in footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s luxury hotel on the Portuguese island of Madeira.
The former Manchester United star, now playing for Real Madrid, has opened the premium Pestana CR7 Hotel in the island’s main city, Funchal, which is also the place where the footballer was born.
Lina is instantly recognisable for its rainbow of vibrant colours and the company was delighted to be featured in the Slovenia pavilion at Expo in Milan in 2015 and will also be on view at Maison & Objet, the important Parisian homewares fair which takes place again this year from 2- 6 September.
According to Lina, the concept “is based on simple and fine shapes, modularity, ergonomics and inventive ideas radiating quality and timelessness.”
