The Slovenian plastics manufacturer to open a new plant in Velenje and invest in development

The Slovenian plastics company Plastika Skaza has announced the opening of a new €5 million facility in Velenje as well as the creation of 20 new jobs. The jobs follow the 40 new jobs already added in 2016 as well as €1 million invested in equipment and the same invested in development.

The company expects an operating profit of almost €3 million this year and hopes to grow by at least 25% too. Currently, Plastika Skaza exports 90% of its products, mainly to Europe but also to the UAE, China, and the US.

The management believes that investment in development is key to achieving growth and hopes to increase its production of articles made from recycled materials.
