Slovenia’s biggest trade fair runs from 13 to 18 September in Celje
Celjski sejem – or Celje Trade Fair – is the biggest and best-known event of its kind in Slovenia and 2016 marks the 49th year of the Celje International Trade and Business Fair, to give it its full name.
This year the fair will feature more than 1,500 exhibitors from 38 countries with a focus on small business from both home and abroad. The Prime Minister Miro Cerar will be in attendance along with other cabinet ministers and there will be a special opportunity for representatives of small business from Slovenia to talk directly to Mr. Cerar about some of the challenges they are currently facing.
Technology, especially the field of medical bionics will be the focus of the event, and there will also be special presentations from delegations from China, Ukraine, Serbia, Canada and the UK.
