Slovenian star of fashion design Peter Movrin joins the celebrated international fashion house of Alexander McQueen
Next time you see footage of the likes of Lady Gaga or Beyonce attending awards shows or movie premieres, take a closer look. Both singers as well as other international stars such as Bjork are big fans of the Slovenian designer Petr Lovrin and have been known to wear his designs to glittering events.
Although Movrin now lives and works in London, he still frequently shows his collections at Ljubljana Fashion Week, and was recently named as one of the semi-finalists in the H&M Design Award for 2018.
Movrin’s exact role at Alexander McQueen is yet to be announced but it marks a major milestone in the career of this Slovenian talent.
